Volunteer With Us
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at CCBC. We are not accepting applications for new volunteers at this time, but please check back again by November 2026.
Donating blood isn’t the only way to save lives. You can also make a difference by donating your time.
Central California Blood Center volunteers are essential to keeping the Central Valley’s blood supply strong. From supporting donor centers to helping at community blood drives, volunteers play a key role in our lifesaving mission.

Is there a Background Screening?
Certain volunteer assignments may require background screening based on the nature of the assignment, access to CCBC facilities or information, or applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
If background screening is required for the volunteer assignment for which you are being considered, CCBC will notify you separately and provide the appropriate information, disclosures, and authorization forms before conducting the screening.
A criminal history, if lawfully obtained and considered, will not automatically disqualify an individual from volunteering. CCBC will consider applicable legal requirements and the nature of the volunteer assignment when making any volunteer placement decision.
