Ways of Giving

The Central California Blood Center (CCBC) is a vital part of the five counties it serves in the Central Valley.  It provides blood and blood products to the 31 hospitals in the region.  Since many individuals do realize the critical role CCBC plays in the lives of Central Californians but are unable to donate blood, making a financial contribution is a wonderful way of showing support. The Blood Center is a California corporation qualified as tax-exempt under Internal Revenue Code 501c(3).  Gifts made to the organization may be tax deductible.  Please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your gift.

GRATEFUL FRIENDS WALL

A donation of $5,000.00 results in the purchase of a plaque on the Grateful Friends Wall whichCentral California Blood Center is located prominently in the lobby of the new corporate headquarters and Jenny Eller Donor Center.  There are four message lines on each plaque, so multiple folks and/or companies (up to four approximately) could contribute and show how much they care, as well.

To date, contributions to the Grateful Friends Wall have already secured over 1/3 of the plaques available.  When all are secured, one million dollars will have been raised and very well may be the last of the funding needed to pay for the entire corporate site and Jenny Eller Donor Center and much needed equipment.  So far, those contributing have been a variety of companies, individuals, families, service clubs and organizations.  We hope you can and will help, as well.

Please print out the "Grateful Friends Wall" donation form (click here for the .pdf version) and fax to Dean Eller at (559) 225-1602 or mail to:

Central California Blood CenterTribute gifts are those in memory of a family member or friend, in honor of an individual, or in recognition of a special occasion.  They are a way of saying what words alone cannot say.  Tribute gifts help finance the work of the Central California Blood Center and provide an ideal opportunity to permanently link a person's name with the traditions and spirit of CCBC.

An anonymous donor purchased this $150,000 bloodmobile to help save lives in the Central Valley.

ENDOWMENTS

Endowments to establish a memorial fund or other type of permanent fund may be set up by contributors.  Once in place, endowments provide permanent support.
