Qualifications: Current
California Nursing License and a current CPR certification. Previous
RN experience in a blood center and/or previous supervisory
experience a plus. Excellent verbal communication skills,
customer service skills and comfort supervising non-licensed staff.
Individual should be flexible and have good organizational skills.

Summary:
RN – Charge Nurse oversees medical and technical issues and
supervises non-licensed staff in bank and on mobile drives.
The qualified applicant is responsible for managing “donor flow”
especially on large field drives. Coordinates with Medical
Director on donor clinical issues and donor reactions. Charge
RNs will also train/mentor non-licensed staff and new RNs when
assigned. Candidate will work in all areas of the Donor
Services Department based on staffing needs.
