Qualifications:   Proof of graduation from medical assisting program with externship required. CPR certification and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs. DMV printout demonstrating good driving record. Some computer skills required. Excellent clinical skills required for medical assisting. Must have excellent internal and external customer service skills. Must work well under pressure and in a changing environment. Critical thinking skills and the ability to demonstrate good judgment. Must demonstrate reliability and flexibility to work irregular schedules as assigned.

Job Summary:   Registration, determination of donor suitability, phlebotomy, as well as stripping, sealing, and storage of components acquired, set up and tear down of field drives, and driving of Blood Center vehicles.
